Darshna & Milind's Wedding!

Hi Guys,

You may have noticed I have been a bit MIA for a little while, I have had tons of exciting news and projects that I can’t wait to share, one being this wedding! I just wanted to share some pictures from one of my best friends weddings that my husband and I got to shoot! It was so hard to pick which ones I wanted on the blog since we really loved them ALL! It was a BEAUTIFUL Indian wedding and the first one we have ever attended! So much culture, beautiful family, delicious food and GREAT company! I have known the bride for about 4 years now, so when she asked me to photograph her wedding I was more than happy to do so! I would say the nicest part of having friends that have a different culture than my own would just be getting to know them on a different level when learning about the dynamic of their customs. Prior to her wedding she had a henna party which was SO much fun! She had family friends come and they created such beautiful and unique patterns on our hands/arms. Hers was so much more detailed, it was on her hands, arms and legs and took hours but was so worth it! I was really impressed. That was on a Thursday, the following day I went over and photographed her GORGEOUS wedding dress and accessories. One Saturday I got to her house first thing in the morning to photograph the morning ceremony followed by getting ready to photograph her makeup/getting ready and then the actual ceremony! My hubby then went on to edit each pic for her. It was an amazing day and I was so happy to be by her side, she was the happiest and most beautiful bride!
