Welcome to Second Star On The Wright, a motherhood and lifestyle blog! I’m Claire-Lise Wright, I am residing in Haverhill, Massachusetts with my husband Stephen, our two kids Asher &Ellie (with one on the way), and our two dogs Henrietta Lacks and Einstein!

Stephen and I have been together for almost 12 years now! We met in high school when we were 13& 14 and started dating in college while studying engineering together. We used to study together every single weekend and compete for grades haha. I’d like to say we are less competitive now but that might not be entirely true ;). We eventually started dating since were already inseparable, I may or may not be indebted to our Calculus III professor for having a hand at setting us up!

 I studied Chemical Engineering and Biology during my undergraduate career. I have since worked at my dream job as a Scientist II/ Project Manager at Pfizer, a major pharmaceutical company. I've decided to go back to school to get my masters in Bioengineering and Nanotechnology. Stephen studied Electrical Engineering during his undergraduate career and later went back to get his masters in Radio Frequency, Wireless Communications. He is currently a Senior Electrical Engineer III at Keurig. We are both working at our dream jobs and honestly couldn’t be more grateful.

I created this space to share my love of all things motherhood, fashion, natural hair and our family adventures. We recently bought our first home two years ago and I have also been loving all things home décor.

Second Star On The Wright is my outlet to share my experience as a working mom navigating through whatever life throws at me. I hope you enjoy following along and leave here feeling inspired.
