A Welcomed Change

My cup runneth over..

A couple of months ago Stephen bought me this beautiful Volkswagen Atlas. I said goodbye to my 2004 Nissan that I literally ran to the ground for a decade. Can’t tell you how many times it died while driving or how many times I had to get her fixed up haha. About two weeks before Micah was born that car was shaking and acting crazier than usual so Stephen took me car shopping. We were initially looking for the Nissan Armada, that was the car we took on vacation a few months ago when we went to the Van Trapp Lodge with the kids, but fell in love with this one instead! It was definitely hard to let go of my old car but MAN is the Atlas a welcomed change!!! It seats 7 and my nickname for her is “the spaceship”. It’s so roomy and basically just perfect. Now all that’s left to make it complete are the stick figure family decals that I need to add to the back window LOL.

Now, just about every morning, I like to take a coffee run to Panera just to have that 30 min alone in the car, listening to music or anything on SiriusXM. I swear it makes such a difference, it’s the little things these days.
