I have been making so many pasta dishes lately! I found this recipe and was SO happy with the result! I did make a few changes to the original recipe (I will leave the link below!)
Changes to recipe made:
I only used 3 layers of lasagna with 2.5-3 strips. We didn't have the cheese that they suggested so I added mozzarella and cheddar cheese. At the very top layer I added mozzarella there too. For the sauteed onion portion I used unsalted and salted butter (had to improvise because I didn't have the right amount). For the mashed potatoes I used evaporated milk and butter.
The mashed potatoes were so good on its own, we wanted to eat it alone! I clearly wasn't as prepared for this dish as I should have been since I really had to improvise on ingredients but honestly it didn't even matter because it was beyond delicious!
